Elaine's Visit - Kyoto & Nara (Part 2)

I've never been to Kyoto and Nara. So stressful, with my broken Nihongo. Hehehe...
Kyoto is too big to explore within 4 hrs. We only managed to visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which I also named as the Emperor's old house, and the Kiyo Mizu Dera, high up at the hill.

Nara was Japan's old capital and it's famous for its deer. So we took a bus to visit the deer. They were so cute and well-fed. Hahahah... The bold ones ventured out into the streets to eat grass! Whaha...We were so astonished when we saw one eating grass in the middle of the traffic road. It was so calm, as compared to the whizzing vehicles that zoomed passed. Once again, we had no time to shop. Needed to dash back to hotel to catch train.

It's autumn now. THis means that the day becomes shorter. The sky turns dark around 4.30pm and we had to be near either our hotel or home asap. That's why we were always rushing like mad. hahahahah...

Nevertheless, both of us had a great time. In the 6 days Elaine was here, I even finished reading her book, "Captivating", written by Stasi Eldredge and John Eldredge. John wrote the famous "The Sacred Romance". I recommend "Captivating" to every girl and woman out there. John also wrote "Wild at Heart" for the men.

A treat from Elaine at Kyoto. The calamari in the center reminded us of the calamari we ate in NIE. Heheheh....

Very convenient. It's beside the JR station.

The famous Nara deers
The deer thought that Elaine's purse was biscuits. Hehe...They're really greedy!
