Today's water baptism brought tears to joy to everyone in the church. Most of you knew Jing Yun's testimony. Her prayer touched the hearts of the church members too. Due to her pregnancy, Ps Masami could only wet her hair and not submerge her in water. She's already 7 months pregnant. This is also the first time this church has water baptism for a foreigner.
I was very touched by Manami's testimony. Eri Kitahara brought Manami to church when she was 9 years old. She stopped attending sunday school after elementary school. But Eri never gave up asking Manami to come to church. She text her frequently and wrote Manami's name on the church prayer request slip of paper every month. Eri persevered for many years, praying and texting Manami to come to church. She's 20 years old this year.

In April, she came to our evening service. She had planned to commit suicide after the service. She came to church because she wanted to see the smiley faces of church members before committing suicide. After the service, one of the youths, Miyui pulled her hand and dragged her to Ps Masami. Due to the awkward silence as both didn't know what to say, Ps Masami just flipped the bible and read scripture to her. Manami just cried and cried. Finally, the pastor asked if she wanted to give her life to Jesus and she agreed. Praise the Lord!
Her testimony encouraged me to continue praying for my friends who have not know Jesus and friends who have left Jesus. God works in ways we know not of and He will answer it in His time! Amen!

P.S: Due to working overtime, Mr Jiang has to postpone his baptism till Autumn. However, he has finished attending the 4 classes. Pls continue to pray for him. =)
