Autumn Brunch and My Patchwork
We had a mega evangelistic event on Tuesday. We prepared the food since Monday. I learnt how to make madelines cup cakes. There were 3 of us in the group. Quite a fun experience. The other mothers made more high level Japanese cuisine and I tried to peek at them as I beat the eggs and cake mixture! wahahah...So fun! =] Oh! I cut the apple rabbits too! 2 of us cut and shaped the apples. Don't they look like rabbits? hehehe
On the actual day, 10 students attended together with 3 helpers. So there were 13 people from English class giving a song item. They sang "You are my all in all". I split them into 2 groups and they sang in rounds. I was so surprised that they sang well. They have never practised as a group before. They only got to see the entire 'choir' on the actual day. Wahahahaah....
I wanna thank God for giving me this opportunity to play the piano for them too. I think, I've never played the piano for the public ever since I stopped during my FYF days. Wahahahaah...Since then, it has always been a 'closet' experience, just for QTs, you know waht I mean... hehehehe... After the performance, I gave a testimony.
As for my patchwork, I've finished the baby's quilt I mentioned earlier on and sent it to my friend. Then, I've started on another one for Jingyun. Making a Christmas quilt and a Christmas wreath. Oooo....Christmas is coming!!!
Egg rolls, beef rolls with asparagus and gobo roots, grapes and rabbit apple pickled lotus roots, konyakku, carrots, gobo roots, bean and chestnut rice. Yum Yum....
Quilt for baby Qihui. Completed and delivered. =)
Underside of Christmas wreath. Still incomplete.
Top side ...stuffed with cotton.
